Local Connect is seeking expressions of interest from community-minded people who would like to join our Welcome Ambassador casual talent pool.

Welcome Ambassadors support The Welcome Experience — a free NSW Government service helping eligible essential workers and their families relocate, settle in and feel connected, delivered locally by Locally Connect.

This is a flexible, community-based casual role suited to people who enjoy meeting new people, building connections and sharing their local knowledge to help newcomers feel welcome.

Potential opportunities may include assisting with community introductions, welcome activities, local events, resource sharing and newcomer support.

Location: Inverell and Tenterfield (community-based, flexible work arrangements)
Employment Type: Casual opportunities as required, up to 5 hours per week
 Remuneration: Casual hourly rate in accordance with SCHADS Award Level 3 Pay Point 4 + superannuation
